Over the past few months Facebook has been rolling out the new Timeline to personal profiles, overall this significant change has been adopted well by their 800+ users. Within the last few weeks Facebook has made another major announcement that affects business pages. By March 31st of this year all pages will be automatically converted to the new Timeline layout.
What does this mean for you?
This change is very good for businesses and their marketing efforts; the new layout will allow for more flexibility in customizing pages as well as make installed applications more noticeable. Some of the major changes include the addition of what is known as the ‘cover photo’. The cover allows for a large image to be displayed for visitors to see.
