Originally from the small town of Sonoma, CA, Rebecca moved to Virginia for college (Hollins University) and then made her way up to Boston in 2013 for Grad School (Emerson College) and never left. Even the cold cold winters of Boston couldn’t keep her away from the booming art culture and amazing foodie scene.
What inspired you to do what you do? – It wasn’t until I took a class in public relations when I fell in love. Whether it is the writing, seeing clients succeed, or just the ability to immerse myself in something different every day, I really love this work.
What were you doing before you started at FCD? – I was in public relations, and before that, in internal communications at a life science company
What is the best place you’ve ever visited? – I’ve been to over 12 countries and I would have to say it is a toss up between Lisbon, Portugal and Brasov, Romania
If you could have dinner with 3 people (dead or alive), who would they be? – Meryl Streep, Lady Gaga and Cindy Sherman
Favorite movie? – Zwartboek
Favorite book? – The Art of Racing in the Rain. Or maybe The Kite Runner
Fun fact someone might not know about you? – I want to become fluent in American Sign Language
Choice of music when you plug in? – Depends on the day. It can either be Lady Gaga or Stevie Nicks. Sometimes I will put on Pandora and enjoy some undiscovered music.
